Trump Labels Democrats as ‘Enemies Within,’ Criticizes Kamala Harris in Women-Led Town Hall

Former President Donald Trump addressed the issue of Kamala Harris’ comments about him during an all-women town hall event in Georgia recently. In response to a question about the Vice President’s remarks, Trump claimed that Democrats are the true “threat to democracy” and some of them represent the enemies within the country.

During the town hall, host Harris Faulkner played a clip from an interview with Maria Bartiromo in which Trump discussed having two enemies – one from outside the country and another from within. He stated that the latter is more dangerous than international powers like China and Russia. In this context, he referred to Rep. Adam Schiff as an example of “the enemy from within.

When asked about Harris’ commentary on his remarks, Trump dismissed the notion that he sounded unhinged and instead highlighted the differences between Democrats, whom he described as “Marxists, communists, and fascists” who are “sick” and “evil. He expressed frustration over the fact that these individuals focus on investigations rather than working to make America great again.

Trump went on to accuse Democrats of weaponizing government agencies against him, drawing parallels with infamous mobster Al Capone’s experience being investigated multiple times. The former president argued that this kind of investigative overreach is a threat to democracy and detracts from the real issues facing the nation.
