Confiscated Aid: Public Outcry Over Biden Administration’s Handling of Hurricane Helene Relief Efforts

The rumblings from social media are growing louder with allegations that President Joe Biden’s administration may be hampering aid distribution to victims of Hurricane Helene in the Appalachian region. Alicia Schubert, an individual who took to Facebook, shared a story about how recent aid provided by the Red Cross and FEMA was confiscated by the regime before it could reach people in need.

According to Schubert’s post, the aid that arrived from the organizations was taken away by the Biden administration, preventing it from being distributed to the affected residents of eastern Tennessee. She specifically mentioned Davy Crockett High School as one of the locations where volunteers are being turned away and told to leave. The only ones allowed to stay are those who first get trained by United Way, she claims.

Schubert urged her followers on Facebook to consider donating directly to churches or individuals instead of large organizations, stating that “church members will make sure your donations get into the correct hands.” She also shared a previous post about the Red Cross and FEMA’s response to Hurricane Helene, criticizing their handling of the disaster.

The public outrage over the Biden regime’s lack of response has grown so intense that the White House issued a “fact sheet” claiming it is doing an exceptional job responding to Hurricane Helene. The fact sheet states that President Biden announced he would be sending 1,000 active-duty troops to assist in the disaster relief efforts, with their primary responsibilities being delivering food, water, and other critical supplies to communities impacted by the hurricane. These troops will also provide additional manpower and logistics capabilities to help FEMA and other partners reach the hardest hit areas as quickly as possible.

In addition to Biden’s announcement, the Department of Defense (DOD) is reportedly on the ground in the affected areas providing support and resources. This includes U.S. Army and U.S. Navy helicopters, soldiers, and sailors who are bringing critical capability to move personnel and supplies in areas where roads are damaged or destroyed. The U.S. Air Force is also providing search-and-rescue capabilities, while the Army Corps of Engineers is supporting response efforts with Temporary Power Teams and subject matter experts assisting in debris removal, water, and wastewater management, as well as bridge inspections.

Despite these measures, many continue to question the Biden administration’s handling of Hurricane Helene and its impact on the residents of Appalachia. For more information about corruption within the administration, visit Corruption.news.
