Actor Zachary Levi, known for his roles in Hollywood films such as “Chuck” and “Shazam!”, has publicly endorsed former President Donald Trump’s potential run in the 2024 election. The announcement was made during a panel discussion featuring Levi alongside former Representative Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., held in the crucial battleground state of Michigan.
Levi began his speech by encouraging attendees to express love and appreciation for their fellow Americans, regardless of political affiliation. Turn to the person next to you and say, ‘hey, I’m really glad that you’re alive and I’m really glad that you’re here right now,'” Levi instructed the audience. Following this act of unity, Levi further emphasized the importance of valuing every individual, regardless of their political beliefs or affiliations, by stating that “Every single person is a child of God,” adding that “every single one of us is deserving of being seen and heard and loved and valued.
Levi attributed his endorsement of Trump to Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s support for the former president. He mentioned that his family was composed of Christian conservatives who initially identified as Kennedy Democrats before shifting their allegiance to Reagan Republicans. This upbringing, according to Levi, imparted him with a healthy level of skepticism towards both government and industry entities.
During the panel discussion between Gabbard, Kennedy Jr., and himself, Levi highlighted his appreciation for the Trump administration’s lack of new wars during its tenure. Under President Trump, we had no new wars,” he said. And now under this administration, we are in countless, we are in more and more.
Levi also expressed concerns about the influence that large companies like Black Rock could have on American foreign policies, as well as potential involvement from the Deep State. As the event drew to a close, Levi expressed gratitude for the largely civil reactions he received from his social media followers following his announcement of endorsing former President Trump. He acknowledged that this decision might be perceived as career suicide within Hollywood, but affirmed that he was glad to have made it.
