Trump Challenges Biden: $1M Golf Match for Charity

Former President Donald Trump recently poked fun at President Joe Biden during a speech in Erie, Pennsylvania, highlighting that the current president “can’t play” golf. Trump imitated Biden playing golf and mentioned his claims of driving an 18-wheeler. The former president also challenged Biden to participate in a debate or an 18-hole golf match, offering to donate $1 million to any charity if Biden won, with the stipulation that he would give Joe Biden ten strokes per side.

The debate over golf between Trump and Biden dates back to the presidential debate on June 27, where they argued about their golf skills. During that event, Vice President Biden claimed his golf handicap was “down to a six” while serving as Vice President under the Obama administration. In response to Trump’s challenge, the Biden campaign issued a statement saying that he is too busy leading America and defending the free world.

Joe Biden also previously mentioned during an interview with Stephen Colbert that he had challenged Trump to a golf match, offering him “three strokes” if Trump could “carry” his own bag.

In addition to discussing golf, Trump criticized Democrats for replacing Vice President Kamala Harris, who he believes has no base, stating, “I actually believe they would’ve been better off if they left Crooked Joe Biden in.” He argued that at least Biden had a base compared to Harris and suggested that she was the last person to join the race. Trump went on to say, “He doesn’t have any idea where the hell he is, but I think he’s better than she is.
