An Airbnb host in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has taken unprecedented steps to evict pro-Trump ballot chasers from their property, as first reported by Breitbart News. The incident occurred on Monday when the host gave an hour’s notice to ballot chasers with Citizens Alliance’s PA CHASE program – a pro-Trump operation that aims to knock on 500,000 doors across the state of Pennsylvania – to vacate the premises.
The ballot chasers were confronted by the Airbnb host who asked about their “Pennsylvania Chase” t-shirts. After explaining they were “chasing ballots for Republicans in PA”, the host immediately reported them to Airbnb and canceled the reservation, reportedly worth $5,000.
Cliff Maloney, founder of PA CHASE, told Breitbart News that this incident indicates that their operation is over the target and being met with resistance by Democrats who are upset that they are finally fighting back against the same tactics used by their opponents in previous elections. Let me be clear: we will not back down…we will not stop…and we will not let off the gas until we crush the commies and claim victory on November 5″, he added.
Airbnb is currently investigating the incident, but no refund has been granted to Citizens Alliance’s PA CHASE program as of yet. The organization is consulting with attorneys about potential legal action for discrimination.
Citizens Alliance, a grassroots organization, launched the “Pennsylvania Chase” initiative in 2023 to increase Republicans’ 2024 mail-in voting results in Pennsylvania. This is in response to failed attempts by establishment Republicans to match the mail-in ballot tactics used by Democrats, which often result in election victories for the Democratic party.
The incident comes as Vice President Kamala Harris is currently short about 360,000 Democrat mail-in ballot requests in Pennsylvania compared to where President Joe Biden was during this time in 2020, according to data released by the Secretary of State on Monday. In the 2020 election, Biden won Pennsylvania with a margin of around 80,000 votes, benefiting from an advantage of about one million mail-in ballot requests over Republicans.
