Biden Delegates ‘Everything’ to Harris Amid Growing Criticism and Political Challenges

President Joe Biden recently delegated “everything” as commander-in-chief to Vice President Kamala Harris, including foreign policy and domestic policy. This admission contradicts Harris’s efforts to distance herself from the Biden-Harris administration’s actions and policies. As she told Brian Taff of Philadelphia’s Action News 6 ABC on September 13, “My approach is about new ideas, new policies that are directed at the current moment.” She further emphasized her desire for a new generation of leadership by providing examples of what the Biden-Harris administration failed to achieve.

According to RMG Research polling from September, 57 percent of registered voters believe they are not better off under the Biden-Harris administration than they were four years ago during former President Donald Trump’s tenure. A Pew Research survey revealed that only 25 percent of Americans rate the economic conditions under the current administration as “excellent or good.

During a campaign appearance on The View, Biden appeared to blame Harris for the administration’s failure to reduce inflation, secure the southern border, and responsibly withdraw from Afghanistan. He stated, “As Vice President, there wasn’t a single thing that I did that she couldn’t do, and so I was able to delegate her responsibility on everything from foreign policy to domestic policy.

This statement complicates Harris’s campaign strategy as she must now contend with Biden’s delegation of various important responsibilities. She is unable to campaign on policies aimed at addressing issues such as crime, inflation, and border security without undermining the administration’s current policies, which are essential for validating her record and candidacy.

As a result, Vice President Kamala Harris faces a challenging predicament: she must navigate Biden’s delegation of responsibility while attempting to distance herself from the administration’s policies in order to establish her unique vision for the future.
