Billy Porter Labels Undecided Voters ‘Cowards’ in Fiery TikTok Video

Actor and prominent LGBTQ activist Billy Porter has publicly criticized undecided voters, calling them “cowards” in a recent TikTok video. Porter, best known for his roles in the TV series Pose and the film Cinderella, expressed his dismay with undecided voters in the video, shot while walking along the High Line park in New York City.

Porter urged undecided voters to “pull your shit together,” emphasizing that it’s a matter of democracy or not. He also accused those who had supported former President Donald Trump of betraying their principles by voting for someone they knew was unfit for office. Porter further criticized politicians and other individuals in positions of power who had backed Trump, saying “You know who they are.

Porter’s TikTok post attracted over 10,000 likes and 50,000 views. In his caption, he wrote, “The decision is clear y’all: democracy or not. This sh*t ain’t regular or normal. My first and last question is: undecided about what.

Porter’s denunciation of undecided voters echoes sentiments expressed by Star Trek actor and fellow LGBTQ activist George Takei, who said on social media Monday that high-profile figures in the LGBTQ+ community needed to take a stand in this election. Many have interpreted Porter’s remarks as an attack on singer Chappell Roan, who has refused to endorse a candidate in the election.

Roan had previously stated she was not pressured to endorse someone, saying there were problems on both sides of politics and that people should use their critical thinking skills and vote for local issues.
