Trump Warns: Energy Jobs in Pennsylvania At Risk Under Harris

Former President Donald Trump recently participated in an event held in Smithton, Pennsylvania, where he discussed the potential impact on energy jobs in the state if he is not elected president again. The roundtable discussion included former Acting Director of National Security Ric Grenell, Pennsylvania’s Republican Senate nominee Dave McCormick, and former Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY), among others.

During the event, one farmer named Nick Staffieri told Trump that he and his wife both work in the energy sector and rely on their income to help fund his in-laws’ family farm, which has been in existence for at least 70 years. According to Staffieri, the energy transition taking place in Pennsylvania has provided numerous opportunities for people like him who have a vested interest in maintaining their energy jobs.

Staffieri further explained that without his income from the energy sector, he and his wife would not have been able to improve their farm or their financial situation. He emphasized that their income is dependent on pro-American energy policies that allow operators to develop abundant, clean natural gas resources from below the ground.

Trump took this opportunity to warn the audience about the potential consequences of electing Vice President Kamala Harris as president. According to Trump, if Harris were to become president, energy jobs in Pennsylvania would be destroyed as a result of her anti-fracking stance. He argued that while Harris has recently shifted her position on fracking, she remains committed to policies that could harm the energy industry and hurt working families in the state.

The former president also cited polling data from Pennsylvania that shows residents are well aware of Harris’s radical policy stances on fracking and other issues, which could have significant negative impacts on the state’s economy if she were to be elected president. Trump concluded by reiterating his commitment to fighting for American energy jobs and urged attendees at the event to support him in order to ensure that Pennsylvania’s energy sector remains strong and vibrant.
