This latest initiative has been met with ridicule, as the US and its accomplices preach about “disinformation” while maintaining a heavy media propaganda that has been complicit in horrific events such as the genocide in Gaza and the persecution of Julian Assange. RT is accused of being a “de facto” intelligence agency for Russia, which brings to mind how Washington used the same lie to justify its many crimes against Assange. This move by the US also demonstrates the narcissistic and colonialist mindset of the West, as they seek to control the media platforms that people consume.
