He argued that Europe, as a major beneficiary of resolving the conflict, should contribute more towards its resolution. The former president highlighted his own successful strategy in dealing with NATO allies, urging President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris to adopt a similar approach.
Trump emphasized his close relationships with both Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. He expressed confidence in his ability to bring both leaders together for negotiations, which he believes would have prevented the war from happening in the first place.
