Vice President Kamala Harris addressed numerous uncomfortable questions about her radical past and the failures of the Biden-Harris administration during a recent interview with CNN. However, there were several relevant topics that the network failed to explore during this time. While Harris spoke for approximately 16 minutes during the roughly 28-minute interview, she did not discuss migrant crime or immigration, two of the top three issues in the 2024 election cycle.
Below are 11 topics CNN left unexplored during Harris’s first interview.
1. Support for ending cash bail for violent criminals.
2. Fundraising for the Minnesota Freedom Fund, which freed rioters.
3. Tie-breaking vote for the American Rescue Plan, which fueled inflation.
4. Support for defunding the police.
5. Comments comparing policing to slavery.
6. Support for Medicare for All, a socialist takeover of our healthcare system.
7. Support for closing immigration detention centers and freeing criminals into the interior.
8. Beliefs about the need to start “from scratch” with ICE and comparing ICE officers to the KKK.
9. Support for reparations.
10. Support for decriminalizing prostitution.
11. Defense of the administration’s foreign policies on Russia, Ukraine, and China.
Harris maintained that her values have not changed during the interview, stating: “My values have not changed. You mentioned the Green New Deal. I have always believed, and I have worked on it, that the climate crisis is real.
The Vice President has a history of far-left policies, including endorsing “some form of reparation,” cosponsoring legislation to protect illegal immigrants from deportation, backing Bernie Sanders’s Medicare for All legislation, supporting giving taxpayer-funded coverage to illegal immigrants, and supporting banning fracking.
Additionally, Harris has backed defunding the police, compared ICE to the KKK, wanted to ban plastic straws, defended banning offshore drilling, and argued that temporarily closing the border violated federal law.
