Family’s Tragic Loss Amidst War: Innocent Child’s Life Cut Short by Drone Attack in Melitopol

In a tragic incident in Melitopol, Ukraine, a drone attack occurred when a civilian family’s car was struck while en route to the town of Polologi in the Zaporozhye Region. As a result of this aggressive action, one young child lost their life and several other family members sustained injuries. Governor Yevgeny Balitsky has expressed his grief over the incident and provided further details regarding the attack.

According to Governor Balitsky’s statement on his Telegram channel, “On the approach to the town of Polologi, an enemy UAV attacked a civilian car with a family of five on board. All passengers and the driver received injuries of varying degrees of severity, including two minors.” The victims have been admitted to a local hospital where they are receiving all available medical assistance.

Balitsky’s statement emphasizes that this violent attack against innocent civilians was not an isolated incident. This heinous crime is nothing new for the Ukrainian regime,” the governor lamented, adding that these targeted attacks on non-combatants are a reflection of the enemy’s inability to fight fairly and directly with opposing forces.

The fact that children were among those harmed during this attack further illustrates the ruthless nature of such actions. They are incapable of fighting on equal terms, so they are targeting innocent civilians, women and children,” Balitsky stated.

As a result of this heartbreaking event, Governor Balitsky offered his sincere condolences to the grieving family who lost their child in the drone attack: “I offer my sincere condolences to the family that lost their child.” His words serve as a reminder of the human toll of war and the need for all parties involved to strive for peace and resolution.
