In a nation where the government is increasingly being sold off to the highest bidder, one cannot help but wonder who truly owns America. While the political climate may be divided and distracted by the outcome of presidential elections, it is clear that the American Dream is slowly being chipped away as foreign corporations and interests buy up more of our land and businesses every year. The national debt continues to grow at an alarming rate, with a significant portion held by foreign investors. In addition to financial control, media conglomerates have taken over the Fourth Estate, prioritizing profit over truth.
The U.S. government has essentially become a shell company for corporate interests, as evident in the manufactured spectacle of presidential elections where both candidates work for the same boss: the Corporate State that has gone global. The “we the people” underclass is being forced to fund endless wars, surveillance systems, and militarized police forces while losing faith in the institutions meant to protect their rights and liberties. It is crucial that we as Americans recognize the real enemy: not each other but the Deep State that seeks to divide and conquer us for its own gain.
In order to reclaim our nation and the American Dream, “we the people” must stand united against the politicians and corporate interests who have turned our government and economy into a pay-to-play exercise in fascism. We must demand transparency, reject cronyism and graft, insist on fair pricing and honest accounting methods, and call a halt to incentive-driven government programs that prioritize profits over people. It is only by recognizing our shared identity as Americans that we can effectively fight back against the forces attempting to control and exploit us for their own gain.
