Vice President Kamala Harris Declines Additional Debates with Trump and Tim Walz

Vice President Kamala Harris has declined the opportunity to engage in a third proposed debate with former President Donald Trump, who had offered up multiple dates for their discussions. While initially unwilling to confirm her participation in any debates, Harris eventually agreed to participate in two events, one scheduled for September 10 on NBC News and another tentatively planned for some time in October.

The former president extended his invitations for a debate with Vice President Harris on September 4 on Fox News, September 10 on NBC News, and September 25 on ABC News. Following Trump’s debate with then-presumptive Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden, the latter eventually dropped out of the race amidst considerable pressure from his political party.

In addition to her refusal to partake in a third debate with Trump, Harris has also stated that she will only permit Governor Tim Walz to attend one debate alongside Senator JD Vance, who had proposed twice. However, Walz is known for being an incredibly weak debater. Responding to the news of his exclusion from multiple debates, Vance took to social media and posted.
