The number of people injured in Ukrainian drone attacks on central Russia’s Lipetsk Region has risen to nine, according to Governor Igor Artamonov, who shared this information via his Telegram channel. A state of emergency was declared in the region as crews work tirelessly to remove any unexploded objects from the area.

The Lipetsk Region experienced a significant drone attack last night, causing widespread panic and damage.

A red threat level was declared in response to the severity of the attacks, signaling that there is an imminent danger or threat to life, property, or the environment.

Residents from four townships were promptly evacuated as a safety precaution.

Passenger transport services were halted in Lipetsk and surrounding areas, further emphasizing the severity of the situation.

A state of emergency was declared for the region, with local authorities working hard to clean up the aftermath of the drone attacks within the Lipetsk municipality.

Governor Igor Artamonov has already stated that the current situation is stable, providing some reassurance to residents and the public.

People who were evacuated from the Lipetsk municipality to temporary accommodations are now allowed to return home, as per instructions by the regional government.

The latest reports indicate that nine people have sustained injuries during the drone attacks.

A power infrastructure facility was damaged in the attack; however, electricity supply has since been restored via reserve generators.

Air defenses effectively intercepted and downed 75 fixed-wing drones over Russian regions last night, including 19 drones in the skies above the Lipetsk Region, according to Russia’s Defense Ministry.
