Haley Blasts PAC Using Her Name for Harris Support

Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley has recently expressed her disapproval and concern over a political action committee (PAC) using her name to support Vice President Kamala Harris for president. This PAC, called Haley Voters for Harris, allegedly manipulates Haley’s reputation in order to endorse Harris and her agenda. The former South Carolina governor and Republican presidential candidate released an official statement on this matter, stating that any attempt to use her name to support Harris or her political agenda is “deceptive and wrong.

Haley’s legal team sent a letter to the PAC demanding that they cease and desist from any unlawful use of her name. Furthermore, they requested that the PAC stop using Haley’s name, image, or likeness in order to give the impression of Haley’s support for Harris in the presidential race. In her statement, Haley emphasized how she and Kamala Harris are total opposites on every political issue, thus making any association between them misleading.

Haley’s objection comes a day after the PAC publicly announced its support for Harris. Previously known as “Haley Voters for Biden,” the group expressed its intention to change its name and follow President Joe Biden’s recommendation to support Harris instead. The PAC made it clear that it is not affiliated with Nikki Haley, referring to a separate group named “Stand for America.

In May of 2019, Haley revealed her decision to vote for Trump during the upcoming election, despite previously criticizing him as the Republican presidential nominee. Her support for Trump stems from her belief that he is the right person to make America strong, safe, and prosperous.
