Elon Musk’s Blunt Remark on George & Alex Soros Supporting Kamala Harris

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has recently taken a jab at George Soros and his son Alex for quickly endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris as a potential candidate to replace Joe Biden, who announced that he would not be seeking re-election in November. Following the announcement, Alex Soros, the son of billionaire financier George Soros and heir to his father’s philanthropic empire, publicly endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris, describing her as the Democrats’ best shot at defeating Donald Trump.

It’s time for us all to unite around Kamala Harris and beat Donald Trump. Long live the American Dream!” Alex Soros wrote in a post on Twitter, attaching a picture of himself with Harris. In response to this endorsement, Elon Musk wrote on his platform, X (formerly Twitter), “I’d just like to thank Alexander Soros for not keeping everyone in suspense about who the next puppet would be.

George Soros has also personally expressed support for Harris, according to a spokesperson for the Wall Street Journal. The prominent US Democratic Party donor contributed approximately $128 million to candidates and organizations during the midterm elections in 2022. Furthermore, he donated $5 million to the main political action committee supporting Biden immediately after the president’s failed debate against Donald Trump last month.

Elon Musk has previously criticized George Soros for working to dismantle society by ensuring laws are not enforced. During a podcast with Joe Rogan, Musk stated that Soros was doing things “that erode the fabric of civilization,” attributing the current lawlessness in American cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles to Soros-backed progressive District Attorneys who refuse to prosecute crime.

Musk also claimed that despite being “pretty old” and “basically a bit senile” at 93 years old, George Soros is still “very smart” and adept at arbitrage. He explained that the billionaire has figured out that the highest “value for money” lies in supporting local races rather than national election campaigns such as those for the Senate or the presidency.

George Soros, a liberal Hungarian billionaire famous for crashing the British pound in 1992, is among the wealthiest people on Earth, with an estimated personal net worth of around $7 billion. Last year, he handed over control of his $25 billion NGO, Open Society Foundations, to his 38-year-old son, Alex.
