Former President Donald Trump has weighed in on actor George Clooney’s call for President Joe Biden to drop out of the 2024 presidential race, labeling both as “rats.” Trump posted a message on his social media platform, Truth Social, criticizing Clooney and highlighting what he views as some of Biden’s major shortcomings during his tenure.
Clooney’s call for Biden to step aside came in the form of an op-ed published in The New York Times, where he expressed concern over the president’s apparent cognitive decline and urged Congressional leaders, including Chuck Schumer, Hakeem Jeffries, and Nancy Pelosi, to ask him to “voluntarily step aside.
