Following the verdict’s announcement, Trump’s campaign received $53 million in donations within 24 hours, with 30% of these contributions coming from new supporters to the campaign. Leavitt attributed this surge in support to a growing frustration among Americans who are dissatisfied with the current state of politics and the perceived unfairness in the justice system.
Leavitt emphasized that Trump’s legal team continues to challenge the ongoing investigations, including those in Fulton County, Georgia; Washington, DC; and New York. She argued that these cases expose the truth about corruption within the Democratic party and the weaponization of the American justice system. Leavitt expressed confidence that President Trump will ultimately be vindicated on November 5th when he wins the election, as she believes that Americans recognize the manipulation and dishonesty perpetuated by Joe Biden, Merrick Garland, Jack Smith, Alvin Bragg, Letitia James, and Fani Willis.
