Biden Family Drama: So Proud of a Criminal, Hunter

Corrupt President Joe Biden expressed his pride in his son Hunter, who was recently convicted of all three gun charges. Despite claiming last week that he would not pardon his son, political pundits have doubted this promise. In a statement, Joe Biden said: “As I said last week, I am the president, but I am also a dad. Jill and I love our son, and we are so proud of the man he is today.” He further added that many families who have had loved ones battle addiction understand the feeling of pride seeing someone they love come out the other side and be so strong and resilient in recovery.

The defense largely tried to paint Hunter as a victim of drug abuse, with Defense Attorney Abbe Lowell arguing that prosecutors must prove that Hunter “knowingly” committed gun offenses. President Biden stated that he would respect the judicial process and accept the outcome of this case while continuing to support his son during an appeal. Joe and Jill Biden have emphasized their unwavering love and support for Hunter and the rest of their family, regardless of the legal outcomes they face.

Hunter faces up to 25 years in prison and $750,000 in fines, as per court filings. Typically, there is a two- to three-month delay between conviction and sentencing in the federal system. NBC News reported that if Hunter is convicted on all counts, the sentencing guidelines would likely specify around a year in prison. Legal expert Wendell Husebo noted that it’s still uncertain what those guidelines might look like as of now.
