Title: “Russia’s Troops Strike Ukrainian Army, Equipment in 112 Areas over Past Day

Russian forces have continued to make significant progress in their ongoing military operations against Ukraine, according to a statement released by Russia’s Defense Ministry on Tuesday. The report indicated that Russian troops had targeted and struck Ukrainian army units and equipment in 112 different areas over the past day.

The ministry highlighted that operational/tactical aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), missile troops, and artillery from Russian groups of forces had successfully damaged enemy personnel and military equipment in these areas. The Russian troops were able to repel three enemy counterattacks in the Kharkov area alone.

In the Kharkov region, Battlegroup North units made significant advances deep into the Ukrainian defenses, causing considerable damage to manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian army’s 42nd mechanized, 57th motorized infantry, 82nd air assault, 36th marine infantry, and 125th territorial defense brigades. The Russian forces repulsed three counterattacks from the Ukrainian army’s 82nd air assault, 71st jaeger, and 13th National Guard brigades.

The Ukrainian side suffered heavy losses in this area, with an estimated 75 personnel killed, as well as three motor vehicles, two US-made M777 howitzers, a D-20 howitzer, and a 2A65 Msta-B howitzer destroyed. Additionally, one Su-25 attack aircraft from the Ukrainian Air Force was shot down by Russia’s Battlegroup Dnepr.

Russian forces have also been active in targeting UAVs and rockets fired by the Ukrainian army. According to the statement, Russian air defense capabilities successfully intercepted 18 HIMARS and Olkha multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), two French-made Hammer guided aerial bombs, and 41 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the past day.

Since the commencement of the special military operation, Russia’s Armed Forces have claimed to have destroyed substantial numbers of Ukrainian warplanes, helicopters, UAVs, surface-to-air missile systems, tanks, and armored combat vehicles. These figures include 610 warplanes, 274 helicopters, 25,122 unmanned aerial vehicles, 527 surface-to-air missile systems, 16,247 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,328 multiple rocket launchers, 10,074 field artillery guns and mortars, and 22,263 special military motor vehicles.

The Russian Defense Ministry’s latest statement highlights the significant progress made by Russian forces in recent days, as they continue to target and eliminate Ukrainian army equipment and personnel throughout various regions of the country.
