Russian forces have claimed to have repulsed multiple counterattacks by Ukrainian troops in eastern Donetsk, according to a statement from Russia’s defence ministry on Saturday. The ministry stated that Russian troops had successfully defended areas near the settlements of Kramatorsk, Zaliznyanskoye and Kurakhovo in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
