Rap & Drag Shows Rally Democrats: Party at the Polls Ignites Enthusiasm for Kamala

In an attempt to motivate their base in crucial swing states to turn out for Kamala Harris, Democrat elites are turning to unconventional means such as drag shows and rap concerts featuring well-known artists like Cardi B. Michelle Obama’s When We All Vote organization has announced plans for a “Get Out The Vote” drag show in Phoenix on October 18 and another show in Nevada on October 29, both aimed at boosting enthusiasm for Harris among Democratic voters in these crucial swing states.

These events are part of an initiative called “Party at the Polls,” which will feature live performances taking place in swing states from now until election day. The goal is to motivate Democrats to cast their vote for Kamala Harris in places where she is losing ground to former President Donald Trump, such as Arizona and Nevada, both of which are currently experiencing a tight race between Trump and Harris.

In addition to the drag shows, When We All Vote and Live Nation Urban will bring voters together at ONE Musicfest on October 26 and 27 in Atlanta, featuring Cardi B and a host of other pop stars. Cardi B had previously sworn off presidential endorsements this election cycle, expressing regret for having backed Joe Biden in 2020.

When We All Vote is Michelle Obama’s nominally non-partisan voter registration initiative, but the project has also aggressively pushed voting by mail and features a number of left-wing Hollywood and sports celebrities whose past public statements have been anything but non-partisan. Some notable celebrity leaders backing the organization include Kerry Washington, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson.

Overall, these events and performances are aimed at generating excitement and enthusiasm among Democratic voters in key swing states, with the ultimate goal of motivating them to vote for Kamala Harris in November.
