Collaboration and Conquests: Russian-Chinese Ties Strengthen Amid Global Challenges

Beijing, October 15 – Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov recently held talks with Zhang Youxia, the Deputy Chairman of the Central Military Commission of the People’s Republic of China, expressing their unity in assessments of global processes and a shared understanding of how to address current issues.

Belousov highlighted the significance of their meetings, stating that both parties have established a strong strategic partnership due to the efforts of Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin. Our task is to strengthen and develop it,” he added. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and China, with next year marking the 80th anniversary of their joint victory over fascism.

Belousov’s optimistic outlook on the collaboration between the two nations is backed by a common understanding of global events and goals. He shared that the talks they had yesterday with the Minister of Defense of China were fruitful, as both countries have found common ground in their assessments and objectives. This joint effort to strengthen their strategic partnership will undoubtedly lead to significant decisions for both nations.
