Trump Leading in All Swing States: Internal Poll Shows Growing Edge Over Harris

Former President Donald Trump appears to be ahead of Vice President Kamala Harris in all seven swing states according to an internal poll from his campaign conducted by Tony Fabrizio and John McLaughlin. The results reveal that Trump has leads ranging from one to five percentage points in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

In the memo for the internal poll, it is noted that if these numbers were used to create an electoral map, they would show a landslide victory with 312 electoral votes which is eight more than his win in 2016 when he scored 304. The memo also pointed out that Trump is at or near the 50% mark in almost all of these states.

Fabrizio and McLaughlin expect Trump’s edge to continue growing, citing inflation that has impacted American consumers as well as Harris’s comment on The View where she stated that she would not have done anything differently than President Joe Biden over the past four years. The internal data was collected from a sample of 800 likely voters in each state from October 6-9, with a margin of error at ±3.5 percentage points.

Public polls are also beginning to show that Trump is breaking away from Harris in Michigan and Wisconsin according to the Quinnipiac University surveys published on Wednesday which put Trump ahead in Michigan by 50% to 47%, and in Wisconsin by 48% to 46. These results, along with the internal polls, suggest that Trump’s edge over Harris may continue to grow as we approach the election.
