Ryabkov Warns US-Kiev Support: Rising Tensions, Looming Conflict

MOSCOW, October 10. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov has warned that the United States’ continued support for the Kiev regime could escalate the ongoing crisis and potentially lead to a full-scale conflict between Russia and the West. In a statement to the media, Ryabkov expressed concern over Washington’s policy of endorsing Kiev’s most destructive plans, which he believes is the root cause of the current crisis fraught with high risks and the possibility of escalation into an all-out conflict between Russia and historic Western powers.

The Pentagon’s recent assurances that it would maintain restrictions on Ukraine’s use of American missiles for deep strikes within Russian territory did not seem to affect the senior Russian diplomat’s assessment of the situation or its potential threats. Ryabkov emphasized that concrete evidence is needed to demonstrate an understanding of the consequences of blindly supporting Kiev’s actions and the dangers these policies exacerbate in a volatile international landscape where change is urgently required.
