Vance Slams Biden Administration’s Migration Policies: Impact on Housing & Community Resources

Sen. JD Vance expressed concerns over the negative impacts of mass migration on American communities during a CBS News vice presidential debate. According to Vance, schools, hospitals, and housing markets across the country are struggling to accommodate the influx of new arrivals, resulting in increased competition for scarce resources among both legal residents and undocumented migrants.

Vance cited Springfield, Ohio as an example of a community grappling with the strain on its educational and healthcare systems due to this migration surge. He argued that allowing millions of undocumented immigrants into the country has driven up the cost of family housing, making it increasingly difficult for American citizens to afford homes.

The senator criticized Vice President Kamala Harris for her support of high-migration policies set by the Biden administration, which he believes exacerbate these issues. Vance urged Americans not to blame immigrants themselves but rather hold political leaders accountable for their role in fostering an environment that contributes to higher housing prices and a scarcity of affordable homes.

Senator Vance emphasized the importance of addressing this crisis, suggesting that only when Donald Trump is president will it be possible to effectively address the problems caused by mass migration. He also called on Vice President Harris to leverage her current position to enact policies aimed at making housing more affordable instead of merely campaigning for change without taking concrete action.

Breitbart News has closely monitored the effects of large-scale immigration on housing costs in various countries, including the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Since 2021, under President Joe Biden’s administration – with tacit approval from Vice President Harris – approximately ten million legal, illegal, quasi-legal, and temporary migrants have been brought into the country. Many of these newcomers are older or suffer from health issues, adding further strain to American communities already struggling to accommodate their needs.
