Trump Gains Ground in Battleground States: Independent Voters Fuel His Three-Point Lead Over Harris

Donald Trump recently experienced a two-point increase in battleground state polling following his debate with Vice President Kamala Harris. A poll released by Breitbart News revealed that Trump is leading Harris by three points, garnering 50% of the vote to her 47. The survey was conducted across seven target states.

According to a memo from reputable pollster Tony Fabrizio, Trump’s two-point boost can be attributed to his appeal among independent voters who have grown tired of watching the United States decline and are eager to see it become great again. Despite attempts by Kamala Harris and the media to portray the debate as a decisive victory for her, public opinion remained unchanged, with Trump being the only one to experience an increase in support.

The memo emphasizes that target state voters were not impressed by Kamala Harris’ platitudes during the debate, and the media’s claim of a successful performance is far from accurate. In response to the poll results, President Trump announced on Thursday that he would not participate in another debate with Vice President Harris. The president expressed disappointment at her request for a rematch, comparing it to a prizefighter losing a match and immediately demanding a rematch.

This debate marked the second time Trump faced off against a political opponent, following his previous confrontation with then-presidential candidate Joe Biden on June 27th. Trump’s performance during that debate was so disastrous for Biden that it ultimately led to his withdrawal from the race.
