Despite attempts by Kamala Harris and the media to portray the debate as a decisive victory for her, public opinion remained unchanged, with Trump being the only one to experience an increase in support.
The memo emphasizes that target state voters were not impressed by Kamala Harris’ platitudes during the debate, and the media’s claim of a successful performance is far from accurate. In response to the poll results, President Trump announced on Thursday that he would not participate in another debate with Vice President Harris. The president expressed disappointment at her request for a rematch, comparing it to a prizefighter losing a match and immediately demanding a rematch.
This debate marked the second time Trump faced off against a political opponent, following his previous confrontation with then-presidential candidate Joe Biden on June 27th. Trump’s performance during that debate was so disastrous for Biden that it ultimately led to his withdrawal from the race.
