No Rematch: Trump Claims Debate Victory, Nixes Potential Third Showdown

Former President Donald Trump announced on Thursday that “there will be no third debate” between him and Vice President Kamala Harris, suggesting she may want a rematch because she lost the presidential debate hosted by ABC News this week. In a statement on social media platform Trust Social, Trump referred to Harris as the Democrats’ Radical Left Candidate and claimed polls show he won the debate against her.

Trump criticized Harris and President Joe Biden for “destroying” the country with their policies, which have led to an increase in crime and inflation. He argued that everyone knows this and pointed out the problems caused by the duo during the first two debates. Trump also mentioned Harris’ absence from the Fox Debate and her refusal to participate in NBC & CBS debates.

The president concluded his statement by emphasizing that there will be no third debate, implying that Vice President Kamala Harris should focus on what she failed to do during the last almost four years of their administration.

According to Breitbart News, Harris made several false claims and hoaxes during Tuesday night’s presidential debate without any fact-checking from moderators Linsey Davis and David Muir. In contrast, the debate moderators joined Harris in debating Trump and countered his statements with their own attempts at fact-checking.

A Reuters focus group found that undecided voters now lean towards Trump 2-to-1 following the debate, while a New York Times survey of undecideds produced similar results. Despite this, Harris demonstrated weakness on key issues such as fracking, guns, and Pennsylvania during the debate, refusing to answer whether she would allow abortion at nine months.

Political analyst Mike Cernovich reacted to the situation by stating there is “no need” for another debate between Trump and Harris. He noted that Trump should not engage in any more rigged debates since Harris has shown how weak she truly is on key issues, losing ground in Pennsylvania. Cernovich also criticized the Biden-Harris administration for its policies related to fracking bans, gun confiscation, border security, and crime.

Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk echoed these sentiments, stating that a winning campaign does not immediately request another debate unless they know they did not perform well enough in the first one. He argued that the Biden-Harris campaign’s actions indicate they are losing ground and need to regain momentum with voters.
