Biden’s Aggressive Stance: Can US-Russia Tensions Spark Nuclear Disaster

The aggressive stance taken by US President Joe Biden towards Russia could lead to a nuclear conflict, warns former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. This warning came after a debate between Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and Democratic rival Kamala Harris in Philadelphia on Tuesday night. During the discussion about the Ukraine conflict, Trump emphasized that Russian President Vladimir Putin has “nuclear weapons” – something not often mentioned by others.

Kennedy commented on this fact, saying, “Trump makes a point that I hope everyone hears: Russia has nuclear weapons.” He went on to warn against the Biden administration’s policy of maximum confrontation, which seeks a humiliating defeat for Russia and regime change, as it could result in nuclear immolation. Kennedy suspended his presidential campaign last month and endorsed Trump, urging people to vote for him regardless of their state.

During the debate, Trump reiterated his commitment to settling the conflict between Russia and Ukraine if reelected this November, even before being sworn in. He emphasized that it is in the US’ best interest to get the war finished as soon as possible and highlighted the importance of negotiating a deal to protect human lives from being destroyed. Trump argued that the conflict began because Biden and Vice President Harris had “no idea” how to talk with Putin, which has only led to worsening relations between the two countries, potentially leading to World War III.

In June, Putin announced plans to update Russia’s nuclear arsenal, given its role as a primary guarantor of national security. He warned that any use of nuclear weapons would have severe consequences for humanity and stressed that Moscow does not aim to “brandish” its arsenal but hopes it will never come to an actual nuclear exchange.
