Harris’s Shrinking Act: A Critical Review by Pollak

In a recent Timcast episode, Breitbart Senior Editor-at-Large Joel Pollak explored the potential return of former President Donald Trump to the White House while also sharing his views on Vice President Kamala Harris’s recent CNN interview. He expressed disappointment with both the content of Harris’s contribution and the presentation that made her appear as a child sitting in with adults.

Pollak described the interview staging, noting how the dark set choice, combined with Tim Walz’s upright posture and larger appearance, left Kamala looking diminished. He further explained that the table placed above Harris’s waist contributed to her looking like a kid at a grown-ups table for the first time, making it an unflattering portrayal.

Additionally, Pollak criticized the decision-making behind the interview set and staging, questioning whether CNN may have intentionally tried to undermine Harris’s campaign with the odd setup. He pointed out that she looked like she was trying to prove her place in the group, which did not come across as presidential.

Pollak went on to contrast Kamala’s appearance in the interview with former President Barack Obama, who often sat in an armchair during his appearances. Pollak believes a more relaxed and informal setting would allow for better interaction between the candidate and viewers, giving a fuller view of their character. However, this was not evident in Harris’s CNN appearance.
