Battle for Control: St. Johns County GOP Fights Back Against Election Fraud and Developers’ Influence

The establishment and their financial backers are actively opposing the effort to place conservative candidates in positions of leadership within St. Johns County, Florida, stated Republican county chairman Denver Cook during his appearance on Breitbart News Saturday. Cook discussed this ongoing battle for control over the upcoming election, providing examples of the tactics used by the establishment and highlighting the stakes for voters.

Currently, it is unclear who is behind these attempts to undermine the county’s endorsed candidates, but an investigation is in progress. Cook detailed the events occurring within St. Johns County during this election cycle and explained why the St. Johns County GOP took the unusual step of endorsing conservative candidates. We put forward the opportunity for people to do endorsements,” he said, referring to the officially backed candidates as “America first, MAGA grassroots candidates.

They’re not funded. They’re looking to try and restore responsiveness, accountability, and transparency in government, not at the federal level, but at the state and local levels, and all of those are very important,” Cook explained, emphasizing that St. Johns County is one of the fastest-growing counties in Florida and possibly the United States, with developers building thousands of homes per year. He added that there’s a lot of money at stake for these developers, who have been granted more authority over the county’s elected officials and citizens, while the latter are not being heard.

Cook pointed out that this rapid development is unsustainable for both the county government and school districts, creating significant challenges in infrastructure and increasing debt levels. However, the establishment is not taking kindly to the St. Johns County GOP’s support of America First candidates, allegedly creating their own flyer to make it appear as if it were from the St. Johns County GOP, endorsing establishment candidates instead of the officially backed ones in this fake guide.

Cook remarked that “it is a really big deal that a county party would endorse so many people,” highlighting how unusual and vital such a move was at this time. He also shared his experience discovering someone who received a counterfeit mailer containing fraudulent information regarding the candidates. Every single one of our candidates has been removed and replaced by the establishment, well-funded candidates, including races in which we didn’t even consider doing endorsements,” he said, describing the misleading flyer as “a clear fraud perpetrated on the voters.

An active investigation is underway to determine who was responsible for this mailer, which Cook describes as a serious criminal fraud. The exact cost of creating and distributing these mailers remains uncertain, but it could range from $30,000 to $50,000. Cook noted that the envelopes had no return addresses, implying that they were intentionally designed to be misleading. Furthermore, he mentioned that these mailers were sent not from St. Augustine and St. John’s County, but from Jacksonville and Orlando instead.

Cook believes this election fraud is an attempt by well-funded establishment types to maintain control, secure financial benefits, and retain political power. He said, “So that they can decide who is making the decisions and who benefits from those decisions — not so that we have a representative government serving the interests of the citizens. That’s my belief. That’s my stance.

While Cook couldn’t provide many details about the ongoing investigation, he confirmed that evidence has been sent to crime labs and there are active leads being pursued at this time. He urged listeners to remain vigilant and informed during this critical election period, reminding them of the importance of electing candidates who prioritize the interests and well-being of their constituents over personal gain and political power.
