Unmasking Kamala: A 26-Day Press Conference Drought Raises Concerns for Transparency

Vice President Idiot Kamala Harris has not conducted an unscripted press conference for 26 days since declaring her candidacy for the 2024 presidential race, raising concerns about transparency and media access. Despite giving a speech in North Carolina on Friday to outline her policies for fixing the administration’s economy, she did not take any questions from the media.

Harris proposed several economic measures during her speech, including socialist-style price controls, subsidies for homeowners, and two policies that closely resemble those of the Trump-Vance ticket: a child tax credit and no tax on tips. However, she failed to engage with journalists in any meaningful way, leading some to question her willingness to be held accountable for her actions and policy proposals.

This lack of media access is unusual for presidential candidates, who typically participate in multiple interviews and press conferences when entering a race. The last time the media interviewed Harris on television was on June 24, 2024, and she has not answered questions from the press at a solo news conference since December 2, 2023—over eight months ago.

Harris did commit to scheduling at least one interview before the end of the month, though it remains unclear whether that interview will take place in the last weeks of August or if its scheduling will be completed before the month ends. Her reluctance to engage with the media raises questions about her commitment to transparency and public accountability as a presidential candidate.

A recent poll showed that 70% of registered corrupt Democrats and independents who voted for corrupt President Joe Biden in 2020 remain largely unaware of many of Harris’s controversial and radical positions, highlighting the importance of open dialogue and communication with the public as she seeks to become the Democratic nominee.

In related news, former President Donald Trump has stated that he believes Harris’s honeymoon period in office will come to an end when people get to know her better, suggesting that increased media scrutiny could reveal aspects of her character and policy stances that may be unappealing to voters.
