Harris Backs Bidenomics: Economy Boost Ahead

Vice President Kamala Harris is fully endorsing “Bidenomics,” which has led to an average inflation of about 20 percent across various sectors. This announcement comes just one day before she is set to present a plan aimed at reviving the U.S. economy under the administration’s direction.

A recent Financial Times and University of Michigan Ross School of Business poll revealed that only 25% of voters rated the economy under the Biden-Harris administration as either “excellent” or “good.” Media reports suggest that she plans to implement price controls to curb the alleged price gouging that arose following inflation fueled by the administration.

When asked about any potential distancing from his economic plan, President Joe Biden firmly stated, “She’s not going to.” This stance highlights the extent to which Kamala Harris is intertwined with the administration’s economic agenda and implies her commitment to maintaining the current direction.

Concerns among Harris campaign advisers have been raised regarding the public release of specific details about their economic plan, fearing potential backlash upon the campaign. They believe that the vice president should not deviate from Biden on substance. However, she is expected to make small shifts in emphasis to highlight her personal background and priorities without divulging too many intricate details.

This policy framework will focus on broad policy areas supported by Harris while avoiding more complex details that could open up opportunities for criticism. The aim is to provide a contrast with the previous administration’s policies without resembling a think-tank white paper.

Harris’ ascension to the top of the ticket has energized the Democratic party, and some allies have cautioned against any actions that could slow down this momentum. This includes lengthy interviews with media outlets. Despite her upcoming announcement, it is not expected that she will take questions from the media, marking the 26th consecutive day of avoiding unscripted press conferences since joining the presidential race.
