On August 12th, Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov addressed the opening ceremony of the Army 2024 International Military-Technical Forum in Patriot Park, Moscow Region, stating that Moscow’s special military operation in Ukraine is essentially an armed conflict with the US-led collective West.
In his speech, Belousov emphasized that this ongoing conflict is driven by the United States and its allies seeking to maintain their dominance and prevent the establishment of a new multipolar and equitable world order. He further highlighted that the confrontation has implications for the interests of every country involved.
