Israeli Army Launches New Strikes on Southern Lebanon: Focusing on Shiite Hezbollah Facilities

TEL AVIV, August 11. The Israeli army has initiated a series of fresh attacks on southern Lebanon, focusing on military facilities connected to the Shiite Hezbollah movement, according to the army’s press service report.

The latest strikes were primarily directed at locations in close proximity to the settlement of Tayr Harfa, where a member of Hezbollah’s armed formations was identified by the military. The Israeli forces also detected the presence of rocket launchers in two separate areas – Hilat al-Daba and Houla settlements. Both of these locations were targeted as well.

In addition to the previously mentioned operations, there has been an increase in aerial attacks over the past day. The Israeli Air Force conducted strikes on a Hezbollah unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that was prepared for launch, and a radical from a Shiite air force unit who was present nearby was also attacked.

These recent incidents serve as a reminder of the ongoing tensions between Israel and Lebanon, with both countries continuing to engage in military strikes against each other’s territories. The Israeli government has long viewed Hezbollah as a significant security threat, and these latest attacks seem to reflect an escalation in efforts to counter that perceived threat.
