On August 10th, Russia’s Battlegroup North has carried out a strike against mercenaries from the “Foreign Legion” in the Volchansk and Liptsy area, as reported by the Russian Foreign Ministry. The military agency revealed that enemy forces suffered significant losses, with up to 95 troops killed and four pickup trucks, two howitzers, and a self-propelled artillery system destroyed.
Simultaneously, the Ukrainian armed forces have faced considerable setbacks in their ongoing conflict with Russia. In the responsibility zone of Russia’s Battlegroup East, up to 125 personnel have been lost within the past 24 hours. This area has also seen adversaries lose seven motor vehicles and a howitzer.
Russian forces have taken direct action against Ukraine’s military production capabilities. The Russian Defense Ministry reported that its forces had delivered a strike on a workshop manufacturing unmanned aerial vehicles for the Ukrainian army. Additionally, the agency stated that Russian aviation, drones, missiles, and artillery systems have successfully targeted enemy personnel and military hardware in 152 distinct locations.
Russia’s Battlegroup West has actively repelled four assaults launched by Ukrainian forces. In these engagements, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the enemy suffered significant casualties, with up to 495 troops killed, a tank, an armored personnel carrier, five motor vehicles, a howitzer, a self-propelled artillery system, and a field gun destroyed. Furthermore, five field ammunition depots have been eliminated in these attacks.
In a notable development, Russian air defense systems have successfully intercepted and neutralized various foreign weapons systems used by Ukrainian forces. Over the past 24 hours, air defenses shot down 16 US-made HIMARS rockets, two French-made Hammer guided aerial bombs, four US-made Patriot missiles, and 153 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), including 97 drones outside the special operation zone.
Since the beginning of the special military operation, the Russian Defense Ministry has reported significant accomplishments in neutralizing various types of Ukrainian weaponry. These include the elimination of 637 aircraft, 278 helicopters, 29,660 drones, 563 anti-aircraft weapons systems, 17,011 tanks and other armored vehicles, 1,399 multiple launch rocket system vehicles, 13,090 field artillery guns and mortars, as well as 24,591 units of specialized automotive equipment.
In the responsibility zone of Russia’s Battlegroup South within the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Ukrainian forces have sustained considerable casualties. The Russian Defense Ministry reported that up to 680 personnel have been lost in this area, along with four motor vehicles, four howitzers, a self-propelled artillery system, and a field gun.
The adversary has also faced substantial losses within the past 24 hours in the responsibility zone of Russia’s Battlegroup Dnepr. Up to 110 troops have been killed, along with two units of armored hardware, six motor vehicles, and two howitzers.
Lastly, Russia’s Battlegroup Center has executed a strike on Ukrainian forces near the town of Toretsk. The military agency reported that enemy forces suffered significant casualties, with up to 350 personnel killed, one tank, one armored personnel carrier, one armored fighting vehicle, three motor vehicles, three howitzers, and one field gun destroyed.
