Trump vs. Harris: Fox News Debate Settled for September 4th

Former President Donald Trump recently announced his agreement to participate in a presidential debate with Vice President Kamala Harris on September 4th, hosted by Fox News. The debate will be moderated by Fox News’ Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum. This announcement follows a previous scheduling conflict where Trump was set to debate President Joe Biden on ABC.

In his post on Truth Social, Trump expressed that he had agreed to debate Harris in the Fox News-hosted event scheduled for September 4th. He mentioned that the original debate against Joe Biden was supposed to take place on ABC but has been terminated due to Biden’s withdrawal from participation and ongoing litigation involving Trump against the ABC Network and George Slopadopoulos, which presents a conflict of interest.

The Fox News Debate will be held in the Great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at a site yet to be determined. The Moderators of the Debate are set to be Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum, and the Rules will resemble those of Trump’s prior debate with Joe Biden, who has been treated poorly by his party – “BUT WITH A FULL ARENA AUDIENCE.

Kamala Harris had previously agreed to debate Trump, stating that Trump had initially consented to a September 10th debate but seemed to be backpedaling on the commitment. During an interview with Fox News, the former president was asked if he would debate Harris. After some hesitation, Trump confirmed that he would “probably end up debating” Vice President Kamala Harris.
