Hiding Behind Scripts: How Kamala Harris Avoids Revealing Incompetence

Vice President Kamala Harris’s relationship with the media has been a subject of discussion, as she seems to be largely hiding from it in an attempt to avoid revealing her lack of preparedness and bad ideas for the country. Senator JD Vance (R-OH), who is set to be former President Donald Trump’s running mate in the 2024 presidential race, spoke about Harris’s media presence during an appearance on Breitbart News Saturday.

Vance noted that Harris is “incredibly bad” when she is not scripted and relies on her own knowledge and interest in policy. In contrast, Trump thrives in those environments. When asked why Harris has not held a major press conference, Vance said it is because the more she talks, the more apparent it becomes that she is not ready to be commander-in-chief.

He contrasted his own media exposure with hers, explaining that political candidates have a responsibility to seek votes from the people they want to lead and persuade them of their ability to do so effectively. Vance criticized Harris’s strategy of hiding from the press in hopes that people don’t realize how unprepared she is and how detrimental her ideas could be for the country, calling it “really, really disgraceful” on her part and the media’s part.

Vance also accused the media of being a propaganda arm for the DNC, as they seem to cover up for Harris’s shortcomings while attacking Trump. He urged people to mistrust the media and seek out the truth about political candidates and their policies.
