Secret Service Fails to Stop Attempted Trump Assassination: Roof Escape Blamed

Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe admitted during a press briefing that the Secret Service was aware of an issue off to former President Donald Trump’s right, where the shots would come from, before the shooter fired. However, he could not explain how the agency missed the shooter until he fired. All Secret Service members present at the rally knew there was an issue at Trump’s three o’clock, but they were operating under the assumption that there was no weapon involved. Rowe stated that the Secret Service should have had better eyes on the roofline where Crooks was seen running back and forth, making it a failure on their part. The assassination attempt is currently being investigated by multiple agencies and branches of government.
