70% Pessimistic on Biden-Harris Economic Policies: Voters Unfooled by Corporate Media Spin

According to recent polling data from Gallup, 70% of adults believe that the current economic situation under President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris is deteriorating. The study conducted between July 1 and 21, 2024, surveyed 1,010 adults, revealing that only 24% think the economy is improving.

In comparison, at the beginning of 2024 in February, 61% of respondents said the economy was worsening, while 32% believed it was improving. These numbers have taken a turn for the worse since then. Gallup’s Economic Confidence Index currently stands at -35 in July, which is stable compared to the previous two months but still consistent with the negative public sentiment about both the current and future American economy.

During President Biden’s tenure, confidence reached its lowest point of -58 in June 2022 amid soaring inflation, the worst reading since the Great Recession in 2008 and early 2009. The Biden-Harris administration has not been able to turn things around, with the economy being a key issue driving the 2024 election. Despite corporate media attempts to paint a positive picture of the economy, voters ultimately base their decisions on how they feel about the economy, and Vice President Harris is part of an administration that has failed to address this critical concern.

Currently, the inflation rate stands at around 20%, and it appears that no matter how much the corporate media may try to spin the situation in a favorable light for the Biden-Harris administration, voters are not being fooled. The rise of New Media has made it easier for citizens to access information about the true state of the economy and the government’s handling of key issues such as the open border crisis.

The media’s blatant attempt to portray Vice President Harris as the next Barack Obama is both absurd and misguided, as she cannot hide behind empty platitudes in this era of easily accessible information. As a sitting vice president in an administration that has failed on multiple fronts, especially when it comes to the economy, her image will be tarnished by these ongoing issues.

In conclusion, despite the corporate media’s efforts to promote Kamala Harris as a viable candidate for higher office, the polls have not shown any significant movement in her favor. Voters are not willing to ignore the administration’s poor handling of key issues such as the economy and border security. With an inflation rate of around 20%, citizens are feeling the impact of these policies and will likely make their voting decisions accordingly. The power of New Media is giving the public access to accurate information, making it harder for the media to sway opinions with false narratives.
