Kamala Harris Snubs Grieving Family While Pushing Union Support

Vice President Kamala Harris recently visited Houston, Texas, where she spoke at a conference for the American Federation of Teachers, the nation’s largest teachers union, in an effort to garner support from its members. However, while in Houston, Vice President Harris did not take the time to meet with the Angel Family of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray. This is significant because Jocelyn was allegedly sexually assaulted and murdered by two illegal alien men who were released into the United States on the watch of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

Jocelyn’s tragic story has captured national attention, as her alleged killers are two Venezuelan men who had been granted entry into the U.S., despite being in the country illegally. Former President Donald Trump reached out to Jocelyn’s mother, Alexis Nungaray, after her daughter’s murder, offering his condolences and support. In contrast, Vice President Kamala Harris did not offer any similar gestures or condolences to the Nungaray family during her visit to Houston.

The story of Jocelyn’s brutal murder was also featured at the Republican National Convention, where it was used as an example of the potential dangers associated with lax border security and lenient immigration policies. As Breitbart News reported, the two men allegedly responsible for Jocelyn’s death, 22-year-old Johan Jose Martinez-Rangel and 26-year-old Franklin Pena, were both released into the U.S. interior after being apprehended by Border Patrol agents near El Paso, Texas.

In an alarming revelation, it was discovered that the House Homeland Security Committee found that despite thousands of detention beds being available at the time of Martinez-Rangel and Pena’s release from Department of Homeland Security (DHS) custody, they were still allowed to enter the U.S. interior. Both men are currently in jail with a $10 million bail each, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents have placed detainers on both of them, requesting custody if they are released from jail at any time.

This case highlights the potential dangers that can arise from lax border security and lenient immigration policies. It is also a reminder of the importance of offering support to victims’ families during times of tragedy, especially when those responsible for such acts are individuals who were allowed entry into the U.S. under questionable circumstances.
