India-Ukraine Ties Strengthen with Modi’s August Visit

New Delhi, July 26 – Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi may be visiting Ukraine in August, according to reports by WION news channel that cited diplomatic sources. The visit is expected to take place during the third week of August, most probably on August 23.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky extended an invitation for Modi to visit his country during their recent phone call. Furthermore, Indian Foreign Minister held a conversation over the phone with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmitry Kuleba earlier this month. Besides, Indian National Security Adviser Ajit Doval had a phone call with chief of the Ukrainian presidential office Andrey Yermak.
