The Oversight Project recently conducted an extensive examination of mobile advertising data to uncover the movements of Thomas Matthew Crooks and his associates during the lead-up to the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump. A significant number of devices were found to have frequently visited both the home and workplace of Crooks. One particular device, associated with a specific individual, even paid a visit to a building in Washington, D.C., situated close to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) office at Gallery Place on June 26th, 2023.
Another device connected to Crooks made its way to Plymouth, Massachusetts, during early March of this year. This was achieved through a flight from Pittsburgh to Boston. The device in question stayed at Hotel 1620 Plymouth Harbor between the 1st and 3rd of March, 2024.
A third device linked to Crooks’ workplace journeyed to Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 4th and July 8th. Unfortunately, this device ceased all activity on July 12th, which was just a few weeks before Trump was scheduled to hold a rally in Butler where he was reportedly shot in the right ear.
Moreover, yet another device connected to Crooks visited Allegheny Arms & Gun Works, a gun store, on August 30th, 2023.
The following are all of the known relevant locations within Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, that have been linked to the home and workplace of Thomas Matthew Crooks.
1) High school, YMCA, and School District Administration Building (November 2023 – April 2024.
2) Work location (July 2023 – July 2024.
3) Home location (July 2023 – July 2024.
4) Allegheny Arms & Gun Works (August 30th, 2023.
5) Tang Soo Do Karate College / Bethel Park Laundromat (February 2024 – May 2024.
6) Flora Park Garden Center (February 25th, 2024.
7) South Park Golf Course (June 2023 – June 2024.
8) Planet Fitness (February 2024 – May 2024.

At least nine devices were connected to Crooks through advertising identification data. The Oversight Project stated its willingness to share its findings with “legitimate investigations” aimed at shedding light on the events leading up to the assassination attempt.
For the protection of whistleblowers and our investigation, we will not be sharing further information with the congressional task force due to the connective tissue between that entity and FBI, USSS, and other entities,” the group stated.
