Moscow Reports Struggles Faced by Kiev Regime: Peskov Comments on Rising Need for Clear-headed Approach

Moscow, July 24. The Moscow Region has been witnessing the hard times faced by the Kiev regime, as reported by Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov to the press. He added that the number of Ukrainians who are trying to maintain a clear-headed approach towards the ongoing events will inevitably increase over time, albeit possibly not at a rate we would hope for.

Peskov expressed his belief in the regime’s struggle by stating, “It is obvious that the Kiev regime is having a hard time. It is obvious that, sooner or later, the number of people who try to have a sober look at the ongoing events will start growing – maybe, not as fast as we would like it, but still.

When questioned about the sudden interest in negotiations with Moscow from Kiev’s side, Peskov remarked that an official explanation would be beneficial. It would be nice to obtain explanations from an official representative of Kiev in this regard,” he stated.

Regarding the specific moment for talks between the two countries, the spokesman noted, “We will see if any explanations will follow regarding what was said. So far, there have been no explanations, and therefore, it is too early to talk about any details.

Previously, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba discussed with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, about Ukraine’s preparations for dialogue and negotiations with Russia. He emphasized the need for these negotiations to be rational, substantial, and aimed at achieving a fair and lasting peace.
