Uncovering Security Blunders: Former Navy SEAL Investigates Trump’s Failed Assassination Attempt

Former Navy SEAL and current U.S. Representative Eli Crane (R-AZ-2) recently posted a video of himself standing on the sloped roof from which Trump’s would-be assassin fired. In the video, Crane contradicts Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle’s claim that the steep slope of the roof was a safety factor that would have prevented anyone from being placed up there.

Crane asserted that the roof is not that steep at all, as evidenced by a 70-year-old man who easily climbed onto it. He also pointed out the nearby water tower and suggested that if a sniper team had been stationed there, they would have eliminated the shooter before he even reached the roof.

Crane then rotated to show a building taller than the one on which the would-be assassin took his position. He mentioned that Secret Service agents were supposedly present in the second floor of this building but failed to quickly dispatch the individual. Crane expressed that many questions still need to be answered regarding security measures dropped during Trump’s event in Butler, Pennsylvania, where the assassination attempt occurred.

As a former Navy SEAL sniper, Crane believes that numerous safety precautions were neglected, leaving President Trump extremely vulnerable during the event. He looks forward to conducting oversight and addressing these unanswered questions surrounding the incident.
