Trump’s Unwavering Presence: A Genuine Champion at the RNC

Former President Donald Trump played a major role in finalizing the highly successful Republican National Convention, according to Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Michael Whatley, who discussed this during an appearance on Breitbart News Daily last week. He explained that the convention, which focused on the often overlooked men and women of America, was Trump’s idea for him to attend every night.

Michael Whatley was initially supposed to be in Pennsylvania on Saturday when President Trump narrowly escaped death but had to be in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for convention preparation instead. He recalled being at the convention venue on Sunday when he got a call that President Trump still planned to attend the event every night despite his recent brush with death.

Whatley described the moment when Trump first appeared on stage during the convention as something he would never forget. The reaction from the audience was powerful, and it seemed to affect Trump as well, who expressed gratitude to “the grace of Almighty God” for sparing him. Host Mike Slater remarked that it was clear Trump felt the need to be present at the event each day.

Whatley emphasized that Trump’s presence at the convention signaled his commitment to fighting for the American people and showcased his authenticity as a leader who genuinely cares about their well-being. He also mentioned Trump’s direct involvement in other aspects of the convention, such as stage design and lineup decisions. The goal of the convention was to portray Trump as a true man of the people, showing him as both authentic and a fighter for the American public.
