United States Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas is being accused of stalling the information flow regarding the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump during a recent interview with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) at the Republican National Convention on Wednesday. The congresswoman suggested that this could be an attempt to cover up the incident, citing the miraculous survival of Trump as he turned his head at just the right moment and narrowly escaped a bullet which grazed his ear.
Greene emphasized the significance of the fact that Trump was looking at a chart showing statistics of the border invasion while speaking about the issue during the rally. She claimed that the person responsible for these policies, Secretary Mayorkas, is also in charge of overseeing the U.S. Secret Service, which recently canceled a briefing scheduled to give information to the Oversight Committee.
According to Greene, the Department of Homeland Security under Mayorkas’ direction has been intervening and controlling the flow of information, trying to cover up what happened during the incident. This is not the first time that Mayorkas has allegedly covered up information nor is it the first instance where heads of agencies have collaborated to impede investigations into actions targeted at Donald Trump and his supporters.
Greene went on to explain the current situation, stating that these agencies tend to cover up information and create their preferred narrative to manipulate public perception. She expressed her belief that the Biden administration, along with intelligence communities, are building their desired narrative and attempting to control it as usual. However, Greene emphasized that the Republican Party will not buy into this narrative or sell it to the American people. Instead, they plan on challenging the administration in every way possible and cleaning house once they regain control of the White House.
The congresswoman concluded by calling for an end to this manipulation and deception by these agencies and their affiliated individuals within the Deep State. By doing so, Greene aims to bring transparency and honesty back to American politics.
