Campaign Aide Criticizes GOP Speakers’ Tales of Tragedy: Politicizing Loss or Seeking Justice

Quentin Fulks, the deputy campaign manager for corrupt President Joe Biden, recently criticized victims of illegal immigration, crime, and fentanyl poisonings who spoke about their experiences at the Republican National Convention (RNC. Addressing a crowd in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Fulks claimed that these individuals were “politicizing” the loss of their loved ones. He expressed frustration with what he saw as transparent politicizing of tragic losses, rather than honoring them with action.

Fulks’ comments appeared to be directed at passionate speeches made by Rachel Morin’s brother, Anne Funder, and Madeline Brame during the RNC on Tuesday evening. Rachel Morin’s brother recounted his sister’s rape and murder in 2021, allegedly at the hands of an MS-13 gang member who had successfully crossed the United States-Mexico border after Biden took office in late January 2021. The alleged killer had been stopped at the border on three prior occasions.

Anne Funder tearfully shared her story of losing her 15-year-old son, Westin, who passed away after being peer pressured into taking a pill that he assumed was harmless but was laced with fentanyl. Madeline Brame also recounted the tragic story of her 35-year-old Afghanistan War veteran son, Sgt. Hason Correa, who was brutally beaten and stabbed to death in Harlem in October 2018 by four men he did not know.

Brame accused the office of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D) of downgrading and dismissing charges against two of her son’s attackers. One of the attackers has already been released from prison after spending a little over a year at Rikers Island.

These heartbreaking stories shared by victims of crime, illegal immigration, and fentanyl poisonings were criticized by Fulks for being politicized instead of honoring their losses with action.
