Defiant Fist: Dana White Stands with Trump Amid Assassination Attempt

Dana White, CEO of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and longtime friend of former President Donald Trump, expressed his support for the 45th president after seeing pictures of Trump sustaining a bullet wound to the ear during an assassination attempt at a rally in Pennsylvania. Trump raised his hand to his right ear before ducking and getting swarmed by Secret Service agents, who rushed him off the stage at an outdoor rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Before leaving the stage, Trump raised his fist to the stunned crowd, which resulted in a loud cheer.

White posted a reaction on Instagram after learning about the assassination attempt, sharing a picture of Trump raising his fist defiantly in the air as blood dripped from his face. I am absolutely SICK to my stomach and in complete shock,” White wrote. I still don’t know how bad it is or if he’s ok.” White also mentioned that Trump was set to be introduced by him at the upcoming Republican National Convention, adding that he couldn’t wait to stand up on stage with Trump and introduce him as a friend and man of resilience and strength.

The would-be assassin, Thomas Matthew Crooks, was shot and killed by Secret Service officers. White has often praised Trump for his role in helping the UFC stay afloat during its early years when the company struggled with production.
